| I had decided to do repaint my friend a model bus for Christmas again. I chose carefully a vehicle and livery, my friend having a large collection of West Riding and also a smaller collection of Yorkshire vehicles I decided to do a model to go into his Yorkshire Buses collection.
Not many VR's received this livery which is why I chose it, unique and rare and though it's quite a simple livery, it suits the bus very well. http://lee-tomson.fotopic.net/p39635345.html I used the photo in the link above as a guide to repaint the model and other VR photos from the internet to help with grille locations etc. DWY 149T was the last in the 1978/79 DWY-T batch of West Riding Bristol VR's, originally numbered 415, it was later renumbered to 877. |
